Andrew is a creative person by nature.  For as long as I have known
him, which has been about ten years now, he has been involved in the
creative arts.  In high school he was an active member of the
photography club, spending numerous hours working in the school’s
dark room.  He won several prizes for his photographic talents and
even completed a photographic brochure of the mansions of Eagles
Mere, PA for his high school graduation project.

Aside from his award winning photography, he helped choreograph his
high school Color Guard performances for a number of years.  He was
also a frequent soloist in the performances, showing off his creative
talents by combining skillful body movements and amazingly fluid
maneuvering of his flag.

In childhood, Andrew learned how to sew from his mother, an avid and
talented quilter.  He has been mending his own clothes for a number of
years.  A few years back, he even created a pair of patchwork overalls.
He is as skilled with a sewing machine as with a crocheting hook.  He
has taught himself how to make mittens and various hat designs.

His latest creative outlet is known as wire wrap jewelry.  He is self-
taught through observing and studying the work of other artists.  He
has taken elements of creativity from his fellow artists, expanding on
them and creating his own unique designs.  His eclectic style allows his
work to stand out among the growing number of artists.  He has been
wrapping jewelry for approximately three and a half years and his skill
level has gone from amateur wire wrapper to advanced wire wrap
jeweler.  He carefully hand selects each stone, taking into consideration
the look, size, shape, color, and metaphysical properties.  The wire he
uses is mostly sterling and fine silver in a range of gauges and shapes
including round, half round, square, and tubing.  He also uses solid gold
and gold filled wires.
